A spokeswoman for the three day retreat is Leigh Kellis, who is partnering with Inns and B&B’s in southern Maine to create cozy and comfortable environments where women can learn how to better enjoy food and life through the use of gourmet meals, massage therapists and music.  Kellis, is the co-owner and founder of the highly successful Portland business – The Holy Donut

A University of Maine, Orono graduate, Kellis majored in Spanish.  She had intended to be a Spanish teacher.  She decided to pivot from that, however.  “I’m not good with children.” she admitted recently.  “I’m better at making donuts,” she added referring to her successful “Holy Donuts” business that she founded.

The holiday getaway retreat is hosted by Hana Pevny, of the cozy Waldo Emerson Inn and Leigh Kellis, Entrepreneur Extraordinaire.
