Portland Police were called to Rick’s Cabaret, 200 Riverside Street just before 2:30 am for the report of a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and learned that a group was refused entry by staff and as they were leaving the parking lot several gunshots were fired from their car towards the entrance according to a press release issued by the Portland Police Department this morning.
Staff and parons were standing in the entrance and a 39-year-old man was struck by one of the bullets. He left before police arrived and was located at Maine Medical Center later in the morning. His injuries were not life-threatening.
