On December 31, 2024 at 2:27 am., Portland Police responded to the area of Oxford/Portland Streets where a gunshot wss heard.  Upon arrival, police found a 37 year old man from Portland who appeared to be suffering from a gunshot would.  He was transported to Maine Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

This appears to be an isolated incident and is not believed to be related to the recent shootings on Maplewood Street and Cumberland Avenue accoding to a press release issued by the Portland Police Deprtments early this afternoon.
