A 62 year old Portland man was walking in the area of 568 Rivreside Street on Tuesday, May 14 around 10:00 pm when he was struck by a car driven by a 20 year old woman from Westbrook.  The male was transported to Maine Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

The Portland Police Depatment is investigating the incident and no charges have been filed at this time.  Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to please call the Department at 207 – 874-8532.
