At 8:18 am., on Sunday, April 20, 2025, Portlad Police responded to 72 Oak Street for a report of a shooting inside an apartment.  Upon arrival police discovered a 36-year old female from Portland with a gunshot wound.  She was transported to Maine Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The Special Reaction Team and Criminal Investigation Division were called in to assist with the call.  Less than an hour later, Portand Police located the suspect near the corner of Clifford Street and Vannah Street and took him into custody.

Police arrested Tanade Muse, 31, of Portland charging him wih numerous charges including Felon in Possession of a Firearm.   He was transported to the Cumberland County Jail.
