On Friday, April 5, 2019, a Cumberland County Grand Jury indicted Mark Cardilli, Jr. for the murder of Isahak Muse that occurred on March 16, 2019, a 1:45 am.

An arrest warrant was issued for Cardilli and he was taken into custody this evening at 5:30 pm by the Portland Police Department. He is being held at the Cumberland County Jail without bail until he is arraigned.

It has been almost 3 weeks since Isahak Muse, 22, was shot during an altercation that occurred inside 107 Milton Street where Cardilli lived with his family. Muse died as a result of gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide.

There is still work to be done and we will not be releasing any further information. We will continue to work with the Muse family during this time according to a press release issued this evening by the Portland Police Department.
