On Saturday, March 2, 2024, just after 1:00 am. Portland Police were called to the area of 263 St. John Street for the report of a disturbance with a person injured.

Officers found a 30 year old male suffering from serious injuries.  The victim was transported to Maine Medical Center where he later died.

An autopsy will be performed by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause and manner of death.  Police do not believe there is any threat to the public.
