Following Senator Susan Collins recent vote to confirm yet another judge in a wave of radical, anti-choice judicial nominees, today, Senator Susan Collins refused to say if she regrets her deciding vote for Brett Kavanaugh to serve as a Justice on the Supreme Court of the US.  It is yet another moment in an all-too-familiar pattern.  Collins will always priortize self-interest over the needs of Maine voters and their right to safe, reproductive healthcare.

“Susan Collins lied to us and now refuses to even say she regrets her vote for Brett Kavanaugh.  This is why so many Mainers regret their vote for her,” said Graham, who is the Democratic candidate from Maine to unseat in the upcoming mid-terms in November.  “While tow-thirds of Mainers support legal abortions after 24 weeks, Collins has spent years systematically dismantling protections for reproductive healthcare.  Specifically, in 2015 Collins voted in favor of defunding Planned Parenthood.”
