New reporting disclosed what we all know. When a private equity is involved it ruins our communities, way of life and now the team we love: the Red Sox, trading away legacy and loyaly in favor of shareholder returns.
In response, Graham Platner released the following statement:
“Private equity took the Red Sox from one of the greatest teams in history (just eight years ago) to the basement. From nursing homes to thriving businesses to baseball teams, there is nothing private equity won’t run into the ground if given the chance,” according to a press release received from his campaign this afternoon. Graham lives in Sullivan with his wife, Amy, just three doors down from the house where he grew up.
Early this evening, on MSNOW cable news, Howard Dean said that he believes that Susan Collins could go down in the upcoming midterms. Governor Dean said that she is always “very concerned”, but votes the MAGA agenda consistently, reports this blogger. That is unless she is told to vote differently. Governor Dean, who is a physician and served as Governor of Vermont from 1991 – 2003, once ran for the Presidency. This blogger had the pleasure of meeting him at a bookstore in Portland during that campaign.
