PhoPa Gallery on the East End of Portland is hosting a conversation for and about Emerging Photographers on Sunday, February 7, 2016 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. The Gallery is located at 132 Washington Avenue.
This will be a lively exchange of ideas about the work currently on view and discussion of the challenges facing new artists. Photographers from the current exhibition, “Seeing Through” Maine Photographers, 30 and Under,” will be joined by professional photographers Jon Edwards, Tonee Harbert and Rose Macasco, who will share their experiences and insight in this open discussion.
This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments provided.
The exhibit runs through Saturday, February 13, 2016. “Seeing Through” features selected work by 13 photographers, ago 30 and under. who are in the early phases of their artistic careers.
