Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit is assisting the Waterville Police Department with a shooting incident that happened this morning according to a press release issued by Shannon Moss, Public Information Officer, Maine Department of Public Safety just before noon today..

The shooting has resulted in one person deceased and another person injured.  There is no danger to the public.  Additonal information will be available as the investigation continues.
