A coalition of grassroots organizations is sponsoring protests in over 50 cities across the country today Saturday, December 6 to oppose Trump administration’s drive to war with Venezuela.  In Bangor protestors will gather at Pierce Park, by the Bangor Public Library at 6:00 pm this evening.

Already the Trump administration’s repeated strikes in the Caribbean have shocked the world as brazen violations of Intertational law.  Now, Trump is openly threatening to escalate his aggression to land strikes on Venezuelan territory – an unmistakable act of war.  This could easily spiral into a “boots on the ground” invasion and lead to catastrophic death and destruction according to a press release received late this afternoon.
