On Monday morning, September 9, 2024 at 2:36 am., Portland Police Officers observed a vehicle that failed to stop through several blinking red lights.  An attempt to stop the vehicle on Franklin Street near Fox Street, but the vehicle began to pull away despite the iights and siren activated on the cruiser.  The sedan finaly pulled oer on Everett Street.  The driver, 36-year-old Frances Ohkagbon of Uniondale, New York was going to be charged with Driving to Enanger and Failing to Stop for aan Officer, but he became very combative with the officers on the scene and fled.  After a brief foot chase, he was takeninto custody with great resistance and transported to the Cumberland County Jail.

Ohakogban was charged with multiple charges including Unlawful Trafficking in Scheduled Drugs, Unlawful Possession of Scheduled Drugs and Falsifying Physical Evidence. He was in possession of 2.34 grams of Cocaine HCL and .62 grams of methampetamines.
