A new poll conducted by Impact Research found that Graham Platner leads Governor Janet Mills by 38% points among likely Democratic primary voters in Maine.

This comes on the heels of last week’s poll showing Platner with a 27-point advantage in the primary and outperforming Governor Mills in a general election matchup against Senator Susan Collins.

Others have noted online that Impact Research lists the DSCC as a client, conducts their poling and that this poll comes after a blitz of negative ads from the Mills campaign.

“No kidding,” says this blogger.  “IF I were supporting Governor Mills for the US Senate seat, I’d really have trouble justifying those nasty, attack ads of hers.  She is not ready for prime time,” charged this blogger.  “It’s time for Governor Mills, 78,  to return Home and begin writing her memoir – “My Life as a Public Servant in Maine.”

Graham lives in Sullivan with his wife, Amy, just three doors down from the house where he grew up.
