You are invited to attend a city required neighborhood meeting on Wednesday, August 13th, 2025 at 5:30 pm.  The meeting will take place at the Swasey Room at the Canopy Portland Waterfront Hotel, 9 Center Street, Portland.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the proposed major site plan application for the redevelopment of 161 York Street on the west end of Portland.  The site is currently vacant and located within the RN-4 zoning district.  The project proposes dividing the 0.25 acre lot into two parcels in order to construct a four-family building on Lot 1 and a three-family unit on Lot 2 for a total of seven new residential units.  The scope of work includes reconstructing the public sidewalk along the project’s frontage, landscape improvements and stormwater infrastructure upgrades.
