The Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit South is investigating after the body of an unidentified female was discovered washed up on shore at Fort Wiliams Park near the Portland Head Light on Thursday, Mardh 13, 2025, at approximately 1:50 pm.  The deceased is descsribed as a white female, estimated to be in her early 40s, approximately 5’3″ tall with brown hair and blue eyes.

She was wearing a medium-sized blue Fjallraven T-shirt, Frame dark-washed jeans (Size 28) and brown AirWait boots (Size 7).

Invesstigators are seeking assistdance in identifying the woman.  Anyone with information is urged to contact the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit South at (207) 624-7076.
