The kitchen crew was hard at work yesterday afternoon preparing for its opening later in the day.  The grand opening for Minato, 54 Washington Avenue, was scheduled for 5:00 pm and all hands were on deck!

Not surprisingly,  the 36-seat restaurant features a Japanese menu from both the sea and the farm.   The bar menu has a definite international flavor to it as well.

Initially, Minato will serve only dinner.  Lunch service may come in a few months.   Dinner is served from 5:00 – 10:00 pm Monday through Thursday, Saturday from 5:00 pm – 11:00 pm and it is closed on Sunday.
