On Tuesday, November 28 2023, at approximaely 1:38 am., a 911 call was received requesting help at 79 Mechanic Street, Apartment 6 in Westbrook.  Officers with the Westbrook Police Department responded to the apartment and discovered a deceased male and the death was deemed suspicious.  The Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit was called to assist.  The male body was transported to the office of the hief Medical Examiner in Augusta where an autopsy will be performed today.

The Maine State Police and Wesstbrook Police Department continue to investigate the circumstanes surrounding the death according to Shannon Moss, Public Information Officer for the State Department of Public Safety.
