Samantha Ogwudiegwu, 21, of Lewiston was arrested at her place of employment on Howe Street, in Lewiston on four counts of Aggravated Trafficking Schedule W Drugs Class A yesterday. She is currenly being held at Androscoggin County Jail and bail has been set at $12,500.
Over the past several months Agents from the Western District Task Force began an investigation into illegal drug trafficking conducted by Ogwudiegwu. This incuded undercover purchases of Fentanyl from her.
After obtaining a search warrant for her residence, Agents with the assistance of the Lewiston Police Department, executed the search warrant on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. At Ogwudiegwu’s residence on Granite Street, Agents seized 167 grams of cocaine, 7.9 grams fentanyl, 1100 30mg Oxycodone pills, 60 Xanax pills, 30 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 2 handguns and an AR 15 pistol.
Ogwudiegwu is awaiting an initial appearance in Androscoggin County Unified Court, where more charges may be brought according to a press release from Shannon Moss, Public Information Officer, Maine Department of Public Safety, Augusta, issued this afternoon.
