Abortion is still legal in Maine – let’s keep it that way.  Many of us don’t feel like we have much “independence” because of the conservatives of the Supreme Court recent decsion to overturn Roe v. Wade – a federal guarantee of women’s health care gone in many states.

Protestors will meet at city hall at 7:00 pm.  Please wear green and bring a sign!  We will be marching up Congress Street to the annual fireworks on the Eastern Promenade. They are scheduled to start at 9:15 PM.

This will not be your typical speaker rally.  It will be an action-focused gathering and march.  For those who choose, we’ll stay for the firewroks and sit close together to discuss further actions.
