Katie Hager, president of the Parent Teachers Organization (PTO), at East End Community School has announced that the Jordan’s Farm Mobile Stand will be parked in front of the East End Community School tomorrow, Tuesday, November 20 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. The School is located at 195 North Street on the Hill.
The Farm will be selling seasonal produce and Maine processed products just in time for Thanksgiving dinner. They include products such as cheese, meats, butter, jam, salad dressing and grains.
The event was organized to honor the entire staff at EECS. About seventy-three gift certificates in the amount of $10. were awarded to the staff as a show of appreciation from the PTO, according to Hager. The idea for the event came from Dyan Albano, treasurer of the PTO and on the Staff Appreciation Sub-committee.
In addition, the Mobile Farm Stand market is open to the public and it is hoped that many in the community will take advantage of this pre-Thanksgiving opportunity to buy fresh, locally grown produce. Jordan’s Farm is located in Cape Elizabeth. Please go to: http://www.Jordansfarm.com/ or call 671-5341 for more details.
