Last week Robin Clark, owner of Jones Landing Marina, appeared before the Harbor Commission, in support of her application to expand her Peaks Island marina to accommodate more boats in the near future. Although the project had been delayed for personal reasons, Clark is now moving forward with her application.
Following the meeting, Clark said she would like to expand her Marina from its current capacity to dock sixteen boats to a total of twenty-six boats.
Clark will return to the Board sometime next year to provide additional information sought by the Commission. The Commission wants some photographs of the property along with other specifics. It agreed to provide her with a list of what additional information it needs before it can approve her application by mid-December. In the meantime, Clark will meet with the Harbor Master to review the application before the Commission considers it again.
It is believed that the property is for sale by the owner.
