The Portland International Jetport today announced that it is expecting 17% more ttavelers to use the Jetport this year over last year for the Thanksgivong travel period. While a significant increase, traffic numbers will remain well below a typical peak summer travel day and customers can continue to arrive ninety (90) minutes before departing Portland.
“We are looking forward to welcoming around sixty thousand hollday travelers this week,” said Paul Bradbuy Airport Director. “The Sunday after Thanksgiving is expected to be our busiest travel day of the season here in Portland with around seven thousand passengers that day. When compared to a normal day in August where we have twelve to thirteen thousand passengers a day, passengers will experience shorter lines and can arrive ninety minutes before scheduled departure,” Bradbury concluded.
