Janet Mills for Governor Campaign Raises Nearly $575K This Reporting Period

The Janet Mills for Governor Campaign reported today that it raised $574,906. during the January through June fundraising period. The campaign received 4,202 contributions from 3,268 donors.  99.8% of those contributions came from individuals who gave an average of $140.00.

“Our strong fundraising shows that people believe in Janet and are ready to stand with her as she continues her fight for Maine families, for a strong economy and for a brighter future for all,” said Michael Perry, Finance Director for the Janet Mills for Governor campaign.  “Janet has led Maine through a pandemic, expanded  health care to more than 75,000 people and made historic investments in Maine’s public schools, in broadband expansion, and in property tax relief – and she’s just getting started.  Janet knows that we grow our economy by supporting our people and she will never give up the fight to improve the lives and livelihoods of Maine people.”

During this reporting period, the campaign received contributions from people in all sixteen Maine counties and has a total of $376.935 cash on hand.  The campaign began the reporting period with $9,000 cash on hand.
