The india Street Sustainable Neighborhood Plan is on the workshop agenda of the city’s planning board for the second time on Tuesday, December 9th at 4:30 pm. The meeting is in city council chambers at the city hall, Portland and is the second item on the agenda – it probably won’t come up until at least around 5:30 pm. Public comment will be taken.
The discussion will focus on the content of the Goals, Vision Statements and Principles with the possibility of separating/removing the Critical Actions from the Plan document.
Additionally, there will be a Historic Preservation preliminary workshop on the proposed India Street Historic District the following day. It’s scheduled for Wednesday, December 10th at 5:00 pm, Room 209. Public comment will be taken.
