The inauguration of two new city councilors will take place on Monday, December 5, 2016 at city hall at noon. The new councilors are Pious Ali and Brian Batson.  The election results from November will be read and the oath of office administered by the city clerk Kathy Jones.  Ali, who is an at large councilor,  replaces incumbent Jon  Hinck and Batson, who represents District 3, replaces incumbent Ed Suslovic

A brief business meeting will follow in which new council rules are expected to be accepted and the appointment of standing committees will take place.

A reception to meet the two new councilors will take place in the State of Maine Room following the business meeting.
