Gubernatorial Debate Tonight on CBS13 Television at 7:00 pm.

A Lawn Sign on North Street on Munjoy Hill Supporting the Reelection of Governor Janet T. Mills (D) in the Upcoming November 8th Election over Paul LePage (R).

A gubernatorial debate has been announced for CBS13 television this evening.  It’s between Governor Janet T. Mills (D) and challenger Paul LePage (R).  Sam Hunkler will not be a part of the debate because he did not reach the 5% polling minimum required to participate in the debate according to the information released by CBS this morning.

CBS13’s Gregg Lageerquist and Michael Shepherd of the “Bangor Daily News” will moderate the debate which lasts one hour.

“Have you noticed a recent television ad from the LePage campaign shows him as a happy, smiling candidate?” asked the munjoyhillnews.com.  “Apparently, the cruel, foulmouthed, lying LePage is not working for him.” A poll has indicated that Governor Janet T. Mills (D), the first woman Governor of Maine and it’s first woman Attorney General, is leading LePage in the November 8th race.  Not only is that probably due to her accomplishments as Governor,  but her positive campaign, unlike that of LePage.  His nothing short of crude mouth as Governor in the past does not appeal to Maine voters this time around.

Which Paul LePage will show up tonight at the CBS13 debate?  Tune in and find out suggests this blogger.
