Graham Platner’s Iraq Buddy on Tattoo Lies by Ms. Fifield

Graham Platner, US Senate Candidate from Maine, Appeared on Chris Hayes Cabne Evening News Last Night.   He Knocked  the Interview out of the Park!

Phil Proschko — the Marine who served alongside Graham Platner in Iraq and got matching tattoos with him in Croatia — is on the record — again – debunking the claim that the two deliberaely chose a tattoo that resembles a Nazi symbol according to a press release received from the Platner campaign early this evening.

The accusation traces back to Lyndsey Fifield, the conservative operative who cofounded the group – Ladies for Kavanaugh — and who now appears to have been the previously anonymous source (see CNN and Jewish Insider tweets) behind the original fall tattoo stories.  Same accusser, same smear, new byline.

Here’s the Marine who was actually there, in his own words to Zeteo.

“No, we did not purposely get hateful fucking shit because we’re racist people.  We got matching tattoos because we were in our 20s, drunk in Croatia and that’s it.  That’s all that fucking happened.”  His statement continued:  “We went, we got matching tattoos that we pulled off the wall, or it was out of a book, I don’t remember.  We thought it looked cool, somethig to commemorate what happened, all the people we lost in our unit in Ramadi.”

Worth remembering:  “The New York Times” itself conceded it COULD NOT CORROBORATE MS. FIFIELD’S ACCOUNT.

Graham lives in Sullivan with his wife, Amy, just three doors down from the house where he grew up.
