Governor Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan lacks common sense – or her staff doesn’t do their homework on her behalf. Or both.
“Governor Mills a ‘tough, tested leader’ who ‘knows how to lower costs and get stuff done.” is how Whitner described Governor Mills in a press release received this morning that endorsed Governor Mills for the upcoming Maine US Senate race. The press release was issued by Governor Mills Augusta office.
In the two page endorsement of Governor Mills by Whitmer she praised Mills: “With all the chaos coming out of Wasington, DC, Maine needs a fighter in the US Senate who is goona stand up for working people and beat the deeply unpopular and vulnerable Susan Collins. And that’s why I’m proud to endorse my good friend and colleague, Janet Mills,” said Whitmer “You know, as a Democratic governor Janet Mills knows how to lower costs and get stuff done.” The praise for Governor Mills goes on and on – in a well deserved tribute to Governor Mills.
BUT, no where in this press release does Whitmer mention Governor Mills age. She is currently 77 years old. Next month, December 30th, Governor Mills turns 78. Were she to beat the incumbent Senator Susan Collins (R), she would be 80 years old when she took her Senate seat in DC. Please let that sink in! Eighty years old and starting a new chapter in her undeniably successful career in public service in Maine? Where’s the common sense to this? This Left Wing Lunatic is looking hard everywhere – under my computer table, under my bed, in the laundry room. Can’t find it because there isn’t any. This LWL can’t find a shred of common sense to support the Mills candidacy for the US Senate.
Someone in Lansing, Michigan did not do due diligence to learn all the facts about the Mills candidacy for the US Senate. Bluntly put, she’s too old in a state populated by senior citizens. She’d be the oldest freshman senator ever, Is that the reputation Maine wants?

This endorsement from Governor Whitmer is part of a campaign strategy because it is not the first such endorsement on behalf of Governor Mills that has been issued by her Augusta office. Other similar endorsements come from Debra Spark, of Yarmouth; Adam Lee; Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham of New Mexico; and Dan Kleban, of Maine Beer Company. No doubt there will be more to come in this campaign strategy from others lacking common sense besides Governor Whitmer.
