Governor Janet T. Mills (D) Urges Supporters to Vote on Tuesday,  November 8th in a Rousing Speech at Monument Square, Portland,  November 1, 2022.

Governor Janet T. Mills (D), the first woman governor of Maine and its first woman AG, will kick-off Get Out the Vote canvass launches in Newcastle, Belfast and join a Meet and Greet wih volunteers in Ellsworth, tomorrow, Friday, November 4, 2022.

Governor Mills will rally campaign volunteers across three Maine counties who will then head out into their communities to talk to their neighbors about important issues and how Governor Mills is fighting for Maine and encourage them to Get Out and Vote.

Governor Mills will join Get Out the Vote canvass launches throughout the weekend heading into Election Day.  The Maine Democratic Party has signed up thousands of highly motivated volunteers to take action across all sixteen counties this week, with additional supporters signing up to pitch in every day.  Starting today, volunteers are able to join door-to-door canvasses in over thirty locations across the state or participate in GOTV phone banks from the comfort of their own homes.

12:00 pm – LINCOLN COUNTY GET OUT THE VOTE CANVAAS LAUNCH, 3 Hall Street, Newcastle; 3:00 pm WALDO COUNTY GET OUT THE VOTE Canvass Launch, 28 Spring Street, Belfast; and 5:00 pm – HANCOCK COUNTY GOTV MEET & GREET, FLEXIT CAFE, 142 Main Street, Belfast.
