Governor Janet T. Mills (D) has ordered that the US and the Stadte of Maine flags be lowered immediaely to half-staff through sunset on DThursday, May 11, 2023 in honor of the victims of acts of violence perpetrated yeterday in Allen, Texas.  This is consistent with a directive of President Biden it was announced this evening.
