Janet Mills for Governor Raises More Than $1,6 Million for Re-Election

The Janet Mills for Governor campaign announced yesterday that it has raised $1,639,369 for re-election to date, including $1,049,162 during July 2021 through the December 2021 fund-raising period.  The Campaign has $1,277,043 cash on hand.

During this reporting period, the campaign received 8,685 contributions from 4,754 donors, with contrbutions coming from people in all sixteen counties in Maine.  99.5% of those contributions came from individiuals who gave an average of $116.

“Our strong fundraising report shows that Maine people believe in Janet and are ready to stand with her as she continues her fight for Maine families and for a strong economy with good-paying jobs in every pardt of the state,” said Alexandra Raposo, Campaign Manager for the Janet Mills for Governor Campaign,  In just 3 years, Janet has expanded health care to nearly 90,000 people, has made historic investments in Maine public schools and has fought climate change.  Right now, she is focused on protecting the lives and livelihoods of Maine people during this pandemic and making sure Maine has a strong economic recovery that gets people back to work.  She knows that we strengthen our state by suppordting our people and she wll never give up the fight to improve the lives and livelihoods of Maine people.”
