Governor Mills Directs Flags Lowered April 19 Honoring Former Governor Brennan; Proud Son of Munjoy Hill

Governor Janet T. Mills  has ordered that the United States and State of Maine flags be lowered to half-staff statewide tomorrow Friday, April 19th in honor of former Maine Governor Joseph E. “Joe” Brennan.  Governor Brennan will be laid to rest following a funeral service in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, in Portland.

Governor Brennan, 89, grew up on Munjoy HIll and died at his home on the Hill on April 5th.
