The Celebration of the 200th anniversary of the drafting of Maine’s constitution has been postponed as of moments ago.  The event was to be held at First Parish Church, Congress Street on Sunday, March 15th.  The cancellation is out of concern for the pandemic of the COVID-19 and an effort not to enable the possible spread of this virus.

Numerous other events have been cancelled – too many to list here.  But they do include the First Friday Art Walk on April 3, 2019.  The Winter Weekend Service of the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad has also been postponed for the public’s safety.  It is expected to resume public service on April 1st, 2019.

Please see post herein dated March 9, 2019 for more information on the First Parish Church Celebration of the 200th anniversary of the drafting the Maine Constitution at that historic location.
