The first-ever Clean Transportatiom Festival is set for Saturday, September 7th from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm.   It will feature an afternoon of fun, celebrating and learning about clean transportation options.   The first-ever such Festival will be held at the Orange Bike Brewing Company, Diamond Street.  Eleven community-based organizations and the city of Portland will highlight opportunities to promote cleaner, healthier transportation choices such as public transit and safer biking and walking paths.

In addition  to food, drinks and games, there will be e-bike demonstrations, keynotes from leaders in the field and opportunities to take action to support a clean transportation future.    Participants will have a chance to interact with the organizations working to make Maine’s streets cleaner and safer through investment in public transit, active transportation and better community design.
