Swimmers Were Back in the Water This Afternoon at East End Beach on Munjoy Hill.

East End Beach on the Munjoy Hill waterfront reopened this afternoon after the test results from the first water sample came back well below the state threshold.  Additional samples were taken and staff will continue to monitor conditions.

The popular Beach was closed on Sunday due to a malfunction at the nearby East End Wastewater Plant.
