The Maine State Police has received confirmation from the Office of Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta that the deceased female found at Fort Wiliams Park in Cape Elizabeth has been positively identified as Sari Carlson, 52, of Portland.  The cause and manner of death remain pending.

Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances of her death.  There is no risk to the public.

No further details are available at this time according to Shannon Moss, Public Information Officer, for the Department of Public Safety, Augusta.
