The Maine State Police is investigating the death of a one year old child who was found unresponsive this morning Sunday, December 28 2025 at a residence in the town of Milford according to a press release issued late this afternoon by Shannon Moss, Public Information Officer for the Maine Department of Public Safety, Augusta.

Pursuant to state statute, the Maine State Police investigate all deaths involving children under the age of three.  There is no danger to the public.  This remains an active investigation and no additional information is being released at this time.
