The city has received a major site plan application to facilitate the renovation of the Parish House of the Williston-Immanuel Church and construction of a new 5-story addition off of the Parish House., at 156 High Street. The application is by Williston-Immanuel UC and Avesta Housing.

The application would create a total of 33 affordable housing units.  The property totals 23,007 square feet and is zoned B-3 Downtown Business.  It is located within both the Deering Street Historic District and the Congress Street Historic District.
