Councilor Anna Trevorrow at East End Community School Following her Eleection to the Portland City Council in 2021.

City Councilor Anna Trevorrow has confirmed this evening in an email that she is not going to run for re-election again.  It’s a very demanding job and she is in a transitional phase of her life and she is pursuing other interests.

While this blogger has not always agreed with her decisions, she has represented District 1 with respect and dignity; for that we are grateful!

Trevorrow’s election to the city council in 2021 was a bright spot for District 1 as she replaced former city councilor Belinda Roy.
