Celebrate Marilyn’s 20th Birthday at the Maine Wildlife Park on Saturday, July 12 – 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.

You are invited to attend Marilyn’s 20th Birthday Bash at the Maine Wildlife Park on Saturday, July 12 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Marilyn is a bald eagle who lives at the Park, 56 Game Farm Road, Gray.

This year is also the 50th anniversary of Maine’s Endangered Species Act.

The Act changed the course of the bald eagle conservation in Maine and led to the success story that Marilyn represents to thousands of Park visitors each year.  Through intensive conservation efforts, Maine’s bald eagle population has increased from just 21 in 1967 to an estimated 800 + pairs today, making it by far the largest bald eagle population in New England.

Marilyn will enjoy some extra birthday enrichment, you’ll get to sign her birthday card, learn more about eagles at our Keeper Talks and take part in a raffle.
