266 Ocean Avenue, Across from Chevrus High School, is The House Damaged by Car Incident.

On October 17, 2023, at 4:42 pm., Portland Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision at the corner of Ocean Avenue/Read Street.  Witnesses stated  silver Mercedes drove from Ocean Avenue to Read Street, where it clipped a car before crashing into the residence of 266 Ocean Avenue.  Significant damage was done to the home; including damage to the foundation and structure.

Police have a person of interest who was seen fleeing the motor vehicle.  He is a six ft., black male with a slender build, who was wearing a dark colored hoodie at the time.
