Bonnie Hemphill and Aaron Paul were married late this afternoon at Fort Allen Park on the Eastern Promenade. After the ceremony the couple and their guests paraded through the streets of the Hill to Sumner Park where they stopped for wedding photographs. Then they proceeded to Oxbow Blending and Bottling on Washington Avenue for a reception.
The couple formerly lived on Munjoy HIll and moved to Seattle, Washington about a year ago for career opportunities. Aaron works for The Nature Conservancy and Bonnie is a solar energy developer. They met at Yale where both were in graduate school working on Master’s Degrees in Forestry. The bride graduated from Middlebury College and the groom graduated from Reed College.
The groom is from Brunswick and the bride from North Carolina
Following a honeymoon in Scotland, the couple will return to Seattle.
