On Friday, July 24th, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office received a  911 call from a male who stated that his mother was shot while he was attempting to pick up his children from his ex-wife’s family on Jobie Road in the town of Avon; a small town in Franklin County. The male drove away and eventually stopped near 420 Avon Road, where he met rescue and law enforement.

The female victim was transported by Life Flight to the hospital, where she is being treated for her injuries.  The press release issued late this afternoon does not say to which hospital she was transported.
