31 Diamond Street, sandwiched between Coffee by Design and a Brewery in East Bayside, is currently under rennovation to accommodate four new tenants moving in later this year or early next year according to a member of the rennovation team recently.

Toad & Co. a womens clothing store, is planning on expanding its business this fall according to Jake, a sales floor manager for the company..  Currently, the flagship store is located in Freeport and this new location will be its second store for the 21 year old business whose headquarters is in California. The front of the new location will house a small retail space with a fullfullment area in the back.  There will also be space to refurbish old Toad & Co. items Jake said.

A second tenant in the building will be Bite Into Maine according to co-owner Sarah Sutton.  Well-known for its lobster roll food truck at Portland Headlight and Allagash Brewing Co., the company will keep those and add a 3,400 sq. ft. space at 31 Diamond Street.  This additional space will support the business in its nationwide shipping business – Goldbelly.com –  It currently has a small takeout brick and mortar business at 185 Route One in Scarborough.  Sutton says she plans on purchasing another food truck to roll out this summer or fall, although she didn’t say where it would be located.

Bayside Bark will be relocating to the 31 Diamond Street building according to the construction crew member.  He could not remember who the new fourth tenant is going to be recently.
