Yellow Parking Ban in Effect for Tonight.

The City has announced that a yellow zone parking ban is in effect tonight, Thursday, January 29th starting at 10:00 pm and ending tomorrow, Friday, January 30th at 6:00 am. This ban affects the downtown business district and does not directly affect Munjoy Hill.  Vehicles left on city streets will be towed at the owners’ expense.  This is the second night in succession that the city has declared a yellow zone parking ban.

There are predictions that Portland could receive another half foot of snow tomorrow, starting tonight, 1/29.  There could be more snow coming next week – on Monday and Thursday as well.

Not complying with the ban can be an expensive experience not to mention the inconvenience of it all.
