GO PATS!

Visit Portland has announced the launch of Winter Weekdays, a statewide dining and hospitality promotion designed to boost midweek business during Maine’s winter season according to a press release issued late this afternoon. The off season campaign runs from Monday, January 5 through April 30, 2026.

The campaign will give restaurants, breweries, cafes, bars and hotels the flexibility to choose the slowest weekdays for their business.  Participating establishments offer special promotions on their selected day, encouraging residents and visitors to dine out, explore and stay overnight during the quieter winter months.

“Winter Weekdays is about supporting Maine’s hospitality community when it matters most,” said Lynn Tillotson, President & CEO of Visit Portland.  “This program helps businesses generate midweek traffic, support local jobs and invites people to experience Maine’s food scene and communities all winter long.”

Participation in Winter Weekdays is free for businesses and restaurants and lodging properties across Maine are encouraged to take part.  Hotels and inns are also invited to create weekly packages or special offers to help convert dining experiences into overnight stays.
