Sources close to the massive WEX waterfront headquarters on Munjoy Hill have said that employees will begin moving into their new offices on Monday, February 25th – next week.

Meanwhile, D&C Construction was awarded the contract to extend Thomas Street earlier this month. D&C won the job with a bid of $1.9 million. D&C did the pipeline work on Washington Avenue last year as well as on the Hill during the off season.
Thames Street will be extended about 350 ft. beyond the new WEX building, a move that some have objected to because it will be subsidizing planned businesses in the area. The work is to be completed by September 13, 2019.
