The Charismatic Graham Platner, Democratic US Senate Candidate from Maine on MSNBC Cable News — the End of April 2026, is also Well-Read History Buff.
Today, VoteVets PAC is announcing that it is endorsing Graham Platner in the Maine US Senate race. After graduating high school in 2003, during the height of the Iraq War, Graham snuck his birth certificate out of his father’s office to enlist in the US Marine Corps.
After his third deployment, Graham enrolled at The George Washington University using the GI Bill. Graham quickly realized that his time serving in uniform was not over. So in 2009, he joined the Maryland Army National Guard. He was deployed to Afghanistan the following year where he served as a rifle team leader. Now, Graham is steppig up to serve again by running in one of the most competitive races in the country at a time when Trump and allies like Susan Collins are wrecking our economy and putting troops in harm’s way. Graham will fight for his fellow Veterans and miitary families and always prioritize policies that help middle-class Mainers. We look forward to helping him win this race and bringing much needed accountability to Washington.

Graham lives in Sullivan, with his wife, Amy, just three doors down from the house where he grew up.
