President Trump Stumbles as he Climbs the Steps to Air Force 1 Last Year – Symbolic of His Presidency so Far.
The US Airman who was a crew member aboard the F-15 Fighter Jet that was shot down on Friday has been rescued by the US it has been reported by multiple news sources. This is the second airman to be rescued from the jet – the first rescued air man coming just hours after the jet was shot down.
According to President Trump, the airman, a Colonel, was “seriously” wounded, but is expected to be “fine.” The president will give a press conference tomorrow Monday, April 6, at 1:00 pm on more details of the rescue. Dozens of aircraft were involved and hundreds of military personnel as well in his rescue. He was armed with only a pistol.
Because of sophisticated communications equipment, the pilot was able to signal American rescuers of his location whlle being careful not to divulge that same information to Irianians who have also been researching for him. It was reported that a bounty of $60,000 was placed for the live capture of the American pilot by Iranians. He ejected from the F-15 fighter into a moutainous area of Iran.
This incident places serious crediability questions on the reports of President Trump that the military power of the Iranian government has been “decimated” as he has been bragging in recent public appearances. He has repeatedlly asserted that the US controls the air space over Iran as well. From whom who is he getting his information on the war? Recently Susie Wiles, his chief of staff, has expressed concern that the President’s aides are giving him a “rose-colored view” of the war and its econmic impact on the country. One report is that no less than seven (7) US aircraft has been shot at or shot down – in direct repudiation to the bragging of President Trump.
“There is much to celebrate this Easter Sunday,” said this blogger. “Trump is not one of them.”
